I can hardly believe that this Wednesday is October 1st. Our school year appears to be off and running without a glitch! I hope that everyone is now well into the full swing of our new school year. Thank you for all of the support that I have been receiving. It is truly rewarding to hear how much many of my students are enjoying Science class!

Announcements

- *TEST FOLDERS* All students were sent home with their orange test folders on Friday. Please sign and return ALL tests and the parent signature sheet as well. Grades 6, 7, & 8 were sent home with 2 quizzes in their folders.

Our science classroom has been buzzing with activity. Thanks to the kind donation of a beautiful fish tank by 7th grader Pasquale Cassese, I have been trying to set up a fresh water tropical fish tank in our classroom. I purchased some fish and tank accessories over the weekend. I am hoping to have a Fall Fish Fundraiser. Any donations would be very welcome, so we can continue to add more fish to our tank.

We have also been mesmerized by the beauty of nature. Thanks to 6th grader Nick Bellinger, we have been watching the transformation of Eastern Black Swallowtail and Monarch caterpillars. Nick collected the caterpillars and brought them into our classroom to share this beautiful miracle.

*REMINDER* Please submit the $15.00 activity fee asap if you have not done so already. Thank you!
